Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and current Head of Department of Surgery in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. Graduated from University of Malaya in 2005, obtained MRCS Ireland in 2008 followed by Master of Surgery from University of Malaya in 2013. Completed Colorectal Surgery Fellowship with the Malaysian Board of Colorectal Surgery and China Medical University Hospital, Taiwan in 2021. Current Vice President of Malaysian Society of Colorectal Surgeons as well as Deputy Country Lead for Global Reach, European Society of Coloproctology. Surgical trainer for Advanced Surgical Training and Basic Surgical Training for Master of Surgery and instructor for various postgraduate courses include CCrISP, NOTSS, SOTM and Training the Trainers. Active collaborator in multiple clinical trials including Global Surgery, East of Damascus, HALT-IT, Alligator and MAGPIE.
